Severe Weather Policy FAQs

  • When will we know if our game is cancelled?
    1. KEVA aims to contact teams at least 2 hours prior to their scheduled game.  If you have not heard from KEVA inside of 2 hours, plan on playing!  Any postponements at that point will be made by the referee.
  • How will you notify us?
    1. In the event of a cancellation due to weather, we will call your team’s manager, e-mail your full team through DaySmart, and post on our Facebook page.
  • What conditions result in cancellations?
    1. The decision to cancel due to potential severe weather will be made based on confirmed weather patterns and road conditions in the relevant area. Inclement weather is defined as unsafe conditions due to snow, wind, lightning and/or severe conditions (tornado, storms, thunderstorm watch/warnings)
